I will be "glad" if we don't pick this house. A bit on the ratty side.

I actually like this one. I didn't think it looks ratty compared to the ones with all the wood paneling. And the pool looks huge!--it looks like there is a private pool (big) and then a community pool that you have access to as well, but why would we need that? The only thing that gives me pause is the fact that the description says it is right across from the fishing pier. That means we would have to set up beach equipment a bit further down from the pier so we don't get snagged by a hook while we're swimming. Could be crowded, too.

About a 45 minute shorter trip than to Hatteras.

This one has a Ms Pac Man & Galaga machine. Need I say more?

We think this house is fine but too pricey for being borderline "ratty," as Dad so gracefully put it. Also, Jon says we'd have to cross 2 lanes to get to the beach and then walk further down to avoid the pier.

I basic beach house is not bad, but the price is high and there is no discount for June dates. On the upside, we all get bathrooms and no one has to push singles together. What do we think of South Nags Head?

A little pricier than a few others. But inside doesn't look bad.

The beach has a fishing pier right in front of the house. Always a crowded beach.
